Anti-social behaviour

Since 2009 the recorded incidents of ASB in Shropshire have fallen, but the Shropshire Community Safety Partnership isn't complacent. Partners continue to work together to address the everyday crime and disorder described as anti-social behaviour.

Officers from West Mercia Police, Shropshire Council and other organisations including Registered Providers (housing) work together in order to respond to incidents of ASB which span services and require a multi-agency response. The aim is to improve ways of working by simplifying the mechanism for members of the public to report ASB through a single reporting number, ensuring agencies share information in order to address problems and take action to support victims and help perpetrators to change their behaviour or, where this does not occur, take action against the ongoing ASB.
