Title of scheme

Bridgnorth residents parking

Description

A traffic regulation order was introduced in 2011 to permanently replace THE SHROPSHIRE COUNCIL (EXPERIMENTAL RESIDENTS PARKING) (BRIDGNORTH) ORDER 2010.  Due to an error in processing this order however, it did not allow for the imposition of charges for residents’/business parking permits and visitor parking permits that have been free since the introduction of the scheme.

Shropshire Council is now proposing to introduce a charge for these permits to bring them in line with Shropshire Council’s parking strategy.

The general effect of this order will be to provide a consistent charge for residents' parking permits across the county.
