You are invited to take part in a short questionnaire to give your views about Pharmaceutical services in Shropshire.  The results from the survey will be used to inform the Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment (PNA) from a patient’s perspective.  PNA’s are used by the NHS to make decisions on which NHS funded services need to be provided by local pharmacies.  It will identify gaps in Pharmacy services and any unmet need in the local population.

On 1 April 2013, statutory responsibility for publishing and updating a statement of need for pharmaceutical services passed to the Health and Wellbeing Boards. This statement of need is referred to as a Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment (PNA).  The Health and Wellbeing Board must ensure that the PNA is updated and published by April 2015.

Click on the 'Get involved' tab to find out how to take the PNA Pharmacy survey, which we would be grateful if you could take time to complete.  The survey should take approximately 10 minutes to complete and is an important element in the development of the PNA.

To get involved, click on the green button below, which will take you to the survey.
