Early help means taking action to support a child, young person or their family as soon as a problem emerges. It can be required at any stage in a child's life, from pre-birth to adulthood, and applies to any problem or need that the family can't deal with alone.
Shropshire Council works closely with a range of partners to provide early help advice and support to young people and parents.
Working in partnership is key to the early help approach. Understanding the experiences of early help practitioners from all services is essential in order to understand the effectiveness of the support on offer and to help us to develop our services.
The annual early help practitioners’ survey is open to all who provide early help. Whether you work in education, health, social care, the voluntary/community sector or another type of organisation your feedback is really important.
This is the third year that the survey has been carried out.
Your views and suggestions will help to inform service design and changes that will assist practitioners, but that will also benefit those children and families who will receive early help support.
It will take around 15 minutes to complete.
