Expedited Review of Premises Licence under the Licensing Act 2003 

Premises:-

Blue Boar, 52 Mill Street, Ludlow, SY8 1BB

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT Shropshire Council has received an application for the review of the above Premises Licence, pursuant to Section 53A of the Licensing Act 2003.

Interested parties and responsible authorities may make representations in writing to the Licensing Team, Shropshire Council, Shirehall, Abbey Foregate, Shrewsbury SY2 6ND between 26 November 2014 and 9 December 2014.

A review of licence has been requested by West Mercia Police on the grounds that the premises operates in such a manner as to undermine the licensing objective concerning the prevention of crime and disorder.

Details of the grounds for review may be inspected at the licensing office (address as above) between the hours of 8:30am and 5:00pm Monday to Thursday or 8:30am and 4:30pm on Friday.

It is an offence under Section 158 of the Licensing Act 2003, knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application and the maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for the offence is up to level 5 on the standard scale (£5,000).
