The Address Management Team deals with queries relating to addresses, including:
- how do I add/change the name of my property?
- how do I address my new development property/properties?
- my address is not showing on the Royal Mail postal address file, can you help?
You should approach us at an early stage regarding the naming and, where applicable, numbering of a new street or development. The Royal Mail, along with town and parish councils, will be consulted, and if no objection is received the applicant will be informed that your new street name has been authorised.
Any property owner can name their property, as long as the name chosen doesn't conflict with an existing property name in that locality.
