Fares, tickets and railcards

National Railcards are available for seniors, veterans, disabled people and young people.

Standard and season tickets can also be purchased online with National Rail Enquires or directly through operators and at staffed stations (details above).

Shropshire Council offers a reduced cost for senior railcards for qualifying applicants instead of a national bus pass, details can be found here

If you're planning to take your bicycle on the train it's always best to contact the train company to book a place for your bicycle in advance. National Rail provides some information for cyclists.
