News : Christmas recycling

Natural Christmas trees will also be collected on your garden waste day. Trees should be cut into pieces less than 5ft and left either beside or within your garden waste bin.  For each tree recycled, Veolia will be donating money to charity.

If you live in the former north Shropshire, Shrewsbury and Atcham and south Shropshire districts

Christmas cards, wrapping paper and cardboard can be put out for collection in your blue bag.  Larger items of card can be placed at the side and secured together.  Please don't add paper or cards that contain glitter, plastic or mechanical tunes.

If you live in the former Oswestry and Bridgnorth districts

Cardboard packaging from presents should be taken to your local household recycling centre or to a local cardboard recycling bank

Christmas cards and wrapping paper can be put out for collection in your paper recycling box. Please don't add paper or cards that contain glitter, plastic or mechanical tunes.
