Shropshire’s Health and Wellbeing Board are seeking feedback on their draft Health and Wellbeing Strategy. The strategy outlines the long-term vision for health and wellbeing in the county and identifies three draft priority areas which include:

  • Health promotion and resilience
  • Promoting independence at home
  • Promoting easy to access and joined up care

The draft strategy aims to describe how organisations and the public can work together to have the greatest impact in improving people’s health and wellbeing.

To develop a whole system approach (encouraging all organisations and the people of Shropshire to work together) in tackling these priorities and improving Shropshire’s health and wellbeing, three action areas have been proposed:

  • Healthy weight and diabetes
  • Mental health
  • Carers

Please read the attached strategy (which includes an executive summary) then click on the "How to get involved" tab at the top of the page to access the short feedback survey.
