A non-food related businesses that wishes to expand the space they have by using part of the pavement to expose goods for sale may apply for a pavement permit. The pavement permit would enable the business to place removable equipment like shelving and storage on the pavement/highway to display non-food items/goods for sale. For example, a Flower shop wishing to place flowers for sale on the pavement outside their premises would require a pavement permit.

For further details on the criteria and application process please see the pavement permit guidelines attached to this page. If you wish to apply, please complete the

If you wish to renew your existing permit, this needs to be done within the renewal period which is any time in the period of 28 days before the expiry date of the permit.
