Markets in Shropshire

All markets sell a wide variety of fresh produce and goods, and at Shrewsbury market you'll find some lines unique to that market.

Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays all day, with a farmers' market on most Thursdays

Set in the beautiful and historic Castle Square, Ludlow's market is a vital part of the town's commercial and touristic offering.

Tuesdays 9am - 2pm

An indoor market in the Market Hall, Scotland Street, set in Shropshire's Lakeland.

Market Drayton

Wednesdays 9am - 3pm

Street and indoor markets in Cheshire Street, and the home of gingerbread.

We and our predecessor bodies have a long history of operating the markets in Market Drayton, and consider them to be a vital part of the social and economic fabric of the town. To assist us in the protection of our market rights we've adopted a market rights policy which sets out arrangements for the licencing, setting up and operation of temporary markets within Market Drayton.

Thursdays 9am - 2pm

An indoor market in the Town Hall, High Street, and home of the sweetpea.

Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays 8am - 4pm.

An indoor market on Claremont Street (first floor). A small number of traders also open on Monday and Thursday mornings.

Fridays 8am - 1pm

An indoor market in the Market Hall, High Street. A farmers market is held here on the first Saturday of every month.
