Title of Scheme |
Burford – Extension of 30mph speed limit |
Description
|
Shropshire Council is proposing to extend the length of the existing 30mph speed limit on the A456 in the village of Burford. This is to help reduce vehicle speeds to a level that is appropriate for a village environment and therefore reduce the likelihood and severity of road casualties. A mini-roundabout will also be provided at the junction of Forresters Road to further reduce vehicle speed. This proposal has been developed in the interests of safety for all road users and improved quality of life for local residents. |
