Description

The purpose of this proposal is to consolidate all of the existing speed limit orders for the A4117 at Cleobury Mortimer into one legal order which will reflect the speed limits currently in place and signed accordingly. No changes to the speed limit regime currently signed are envisaged.

(SPEED LIMITS) (PART 2) ORDER 2007 (AMENDMENT) ORDER

Shropshire Council proposes to consolidate the existing speed limits on the A4117 in Cleobury Mortimer into one order, as follows:

20mph Speed Limit

  • From a point 25m east of its junction with Childe Road, to a point 16m east of its junction with New Road.

30mph Speed Limit (Street-Lit)

  • From a point 25m east of its junction with Childe Road, for a distance of 500m in a westerly direction.
  • From a point 16m east of the junction with New Road, for a distance of 248m in an easterly direction.

40mph Speed Limit

  • From a point 475m west of its junction with Childe Road, for a distance of 298m in a westerly direction.
  • From a point 264m east of its junction with New Road, for a distance of 250m in an easterly direction.

These proposals are for legal reasons only, there will be no change to the current speed limit regime.
