Description

The speed limit regime on the B4364 at Middleton is being revised following consultation with the Police, Bitterley Parish Council, and the local community in an effort to bring the limits more in line with the current DfT Criteria for speed limits in rural settlements. This will facilitate more effective enforcement action and encourage better levels of observance.

(SPEED LIMITS) (PART 2) ORDER 2007 (AMENDMENT) ORDER

Shropshire Council proposes to change the speed limit on the B4364 through Middleton as follows:

  • 40mph Speed Limit
    From a point 48m southwest of the junction with the unclassified road to Hopton Cangeford, to a point 341m southwest of that junction.
  • 30mph Speed Limit
    From a point 48m southwest of the junction with the unclassified road to Hopton Cangeford, to a point 254m northeast of the junction with Ledwyche Close.
