Woore – Changes to Speed Limit

Description

 

Shropshire Council proposes to extend the existing 30mph speed limit on the A51 Nantwich Road in Woore, and also to extend the existing 30mph speed limit, and introduce a new 40mph speed limit, on the A525 Audlem Road in that village. This will restrict vehicle speeds to a level that is appropriate to the environment of the area in the interests of safety for all road users, and will improve the quality of life for local residents.

(SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 2007 (AMENDMENT) ORDER

Shropshire Council proposes to change the speed limit in Woore to the following:

30mph speed limit

That length of the A51 Nantwich Road in the village of Woore, from a point 201 metres north of its junction with the A525 Newcastle Road to a point 129 metres north of the junction with Candle Lane.

That length of the A525 Audlem Road in the village of Woore, from the junction with Beech Avenue to a point 88 metres north-west of the junction with Candle Lane.

The whole length of Candle Lane

40mph speed limit

That length of the A525 Audlem Road in the village of Woore, from a point 88 metres north-west of the junction with Candle Lane to a point 21 metres west of the access for Woore Hall 

Street-lit (30mph speed limit)

That length of the A525 Audlem Road in the village of Woore, from its junction with the A51 Nantwich Road to its junction with Beech Avenue.

The whole lengths of Ash Mount, Beech Avenue, Moat Lane and Syllenhurst View
