Description

Shropshire Council proposes to extend the existing 30mph speed limit on the B4397 Ruyton-XI-Towns to Burlton road, and also Weston Road at Baschurch in order to restrict vehicle speeds to a level appropriate to the environment of the village in the interests of safety for all road users, and improved quality of life for local residents.

(SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 2007 (AMENDMENT) ORDER

Shropshire Council proposes to extend the 30mph speed limit in Baschurch as follows:

30mph speed limit

  • That length of the B4397 Ruyton XI Towns road from a point 107 metres west of its junction with the B5067 Shrewsbury Road for a distance of 46 metres in a westerly direction
  • That length of the B4397 Station Road from a point 34 metres east of its junction with the B5067 Shrewsbury Road to a point 67 metres north east of its junction with Bell View
  • That length of Weston Road from a point 15 metres north of its junction with the B4397 for a distance of 124 metres in a northerly direction

Any existing speed limit at the above locations is revoked and replaced with a 30mph speed limit.
